2006 Election McRamblings
2006 Election Ramblings….
It is really upsetting to me to see the Carvell and Begala team once again setting the tone for the Democratic “spin” machine. These guys really protected our only “rogue” President in ways that astonished me with their success in making him out as a poised, educated, articulate liberal yet a somewhat mischievous “good old boy” caused by his poor, rural upbringing in Arkansas. Now, it appears that they are ready to aim their “Poison Gun” and devious, but successful techniques in the direction of the entire Republican Party. The attacks crafted by these two are vicious and relentless and leave little time to respond or act before the 2006 elections actually take place. This strategy I’m sure was well calculated and conceived some time ago to give the Dems their annual “October surprise” before meaningful elections. When it comes to dirty politics, the “Devil and his Sidekick” have no peers. They are the best. I have watched them cavort on most of the talk shows from MSNBC to CNN and even Fox News. They giggle like teenage girls and look at each other for cues to adlib their practiced gibberage. Bottom line though…as evidenced by the Clinton debacle, it appears that the American people buy what they are selling!!!!!!!!!!! These two saved Clinton’s ass big time in the late 90’s considering what he did with the Capital Hired Help that made Mark Foley seem like a Puritan Prince. For the life of me, I can’t understand how the left can be so tolerant of gays, yet treat Foley as a deviant despite the fact that the age of consent in Washington DC is 16!! How is it that Clinton’s meanderings with a 19 year old intern was not worthy of having Clinton resign, yet Foley’s like meanderings with a 16 year old has forced him out in shame? Don’t forget, Clinton also lied… something that the Carvell machine now looks down it’s politically correct nose about when indicting some Republicans. How does an intern differ from a page? Don’t get me wrong, I ‘m not saying that Foley should not resign because of his actions … and in fact, find what he did more repugnant than what Cinton did. However, the liberal left historically defends the kind of behavior of Foley as long as it is done with someone of age. A practice that most Republicans abhor.
All this is bad news for the country and most don’t even know it. The large… not politically connected contingent in this country … meanders back and forth between the Democratic and Republican spin machines depending on which side is most successful on any given occasion. The Republicans try to feature the benefits of what their side brings to all people, while the Dems continue to batter opponent’s images real or perceived and even create unsavory situations when necessary, never addressing the issues. Certainly, they “time” information releases to gain the best advantage to darken the image of the senator or representative in their sights to damage them at just the right time. They capitalize on personal attacks rather than trying to sell ideas. Unfortunately, the “instant gratification” middle ground population loves this stuff and gravitates to it, as the information gets more unsavory. Over time, the Republicans usually can recover and give some pretty good reasons for most of the behavior under attack, but when it’s indefensible or would require time to disseminate information, the Left makes sure that it occurs at a time that leaves no room for rebuttal.
This garbage about Mark Foley has been known for some time and even the FBI had some of the emails that are now being put up as proof that the Republicans have again supported a candidate that is not worthy of the American people. This is close to outrageous given the ideas of the left and their support for questionable entities that practice all sorts of deviant behavior. They like to make a point that the right should know better and perhaps this is the only truth in what they preach. The Right does know better and that’s why it resonates so loudly with the general public.
The major issue though folks is the fact that if this timely “garbage” sways the middle ground voters into electing Democratic majorities in the House and/or the Senate, much of what has been accomplished in the last 10 years will be tossed aside. We will return to a high tax, secular social government that we were moving toward before the election of “W” and the maintenance of republican controlled congress putting the brakes on liberals that were running like roaches from a quickly opened drawer in an old house as the truth began to be told. Even the judicial branch has been recently populated with some judges of traditional ideas and values rather than the liberal, alternate life style agenda of the left that controlled the court system for years, As a matter of fact, the liberal left has tried to override legislation and executive rule by exercising power in this liberal left leaning judicial branch of the government. Now that this governmental body is also being addressed by clear thinking conservatives with new judges being appointed, the libs know that they must get control of the legislative branch so that they can ultimately take over the White House if they are to survive. It is time to worry folks!!!!!!!!
Do we really want a society that features freedom FROM religion rather than freedom OF religion? Do we want our children to continue to be exposed to the belief of no right or wrong, or the instant gratification ideas of the liberal left like Rosie O’Donnell allowing her animals to lick the private parts of her children and spewing this to the world on TV? Do we want to become one of the Europe-style non-powers of the world who will ultimately have to defend whatever is left of the western democratic republic system of government against the known threat of Islamic terrorism sanctioned by their ruling governments… most notably Iran? Those countries that are thirsting for control of this entire region want to isolate Israel as the only democratic, republic form of government in the Middle East. I would not like to make odds on the continued existence of Israel given these circumstances. Add to this that there is a growing movement in the west to become more tolerant of this Islamic deviant behavior in the name of Western Culture “over powerment”. A feeling that the hatred of the west is of our own doing. We see this in Europe where a large Islamic population is growing and most likely will emerge more strongly in America that has little control of it’s borders and illegal aliens.
No doubt that one-day we will fight this war that, in my opinion started in the 1970s with the rise of the Mullahs in Iran. If Jimmy Carter had taken action against Iran when they took over the US embassy, we probably wouldn’t be in the position we are today. Don’t get me wrong, even if Carter had acted responsibly, that doesn’t mean that this Islamic element wouldn’t continue to exist in some form. They would most likely be populating the mountains of Iran with Bin-Ladens’ leftovers plotting strategy that wouldn’t be nearly as imposing as they are today. By the way, I still believe that Bin-Laden has been dead for some time and that his followers continue to give the impression that he is alive to maintain the indestructible image. Needless to say, we can also point out the number of opportunities that the Clinton administration had to stall this movement by killing Bin Laden when they had the chance. We will never be without some middle easterners who believe that we are still fighting the crusades until their followers learn that there is more to offer in life than death by bombing. In my opinion and contrary to popular belief, it is my position that these religious ideas of destruction to the infidels has been the thinking of the majority of the Middle East and all of the radicals since the middle ages starting with the time of Muhammad. They still see the world as it was during the Crusades. Much has changed…. They just don’t know it!!!!
Never the less, GW was absolutely right to do what he did in Iraq and pulling out of that country now would be insane, if not suicide. This effort in Iraq should have been one of all Americans pulling together and be in complete agreement as all wars that were fought in previous times have been (I’m sure the argument of Vietnam may be offered; however, this dis-engagement was only the efforts of the same far left group that literally caused the US to actually lose this war)… notice the similarities of arguments that the left keeps using in Iraq…no new ideas or imagination whatsoever. If you don’t believe that the increased violence in Iran is a direct response to the liberal left’s resistance, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you. It’s uncanny how Mahmoud Ahmadinejad comments at the UN were like a page out of the dem’s talking points. Make no mistake, these people only respond to power. They are convinced that we are weak and will succumb to the idea of fighting no matter how long it takes.
The Islamic radicals aren’t stupid. They understand the value of keeping the US in a politically unstable condition and get actual assistance from the liberal left by virtue of their efforts to discredit the government in power as part of their selfish effort to regain the power they exercised during the last century during the sixties and seventies (Again, remember the Vietnam War). They don’t understand that any power they gain will ultimately prove to be a shallow victory as they try to defend our government without basic values implanted in our population. Make no mistake… WE WILL BE ENGAGED IN A WAR WITH THESE ISLAMIC RADICAL PEOPLE… They are very patient and can wait for the best time. That will be if the Democrats prevail in any of the future elections. Be ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
